£2,000 (half of £4,000) in indented legal tender Bills of Credit authorized by Oct. 1724 and Nov. 1724 Acts primarily to exchange for torn bills. Face identical to issue of July 12, 1709 redated May 1713. Backs from great plate have typeset text and Dec. 1, 1724 date instead of flowers, the shape of text differing on each denomination. Printed by Timothy Green. These bills contained the same signers as the prior issue plus Matthew Allyn.
